Orginally from a background in marketing, in 2021 I decided to make a career change and become a fullstack developer by enrolling in École 42 in Paris. I'm passionate about using effective design and problem solving to create user-friendly experiences. I'm currently based in Paris and I'm open to new opportunities.
This was my first full-stack position working with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud. During my time here, I undertook projects such as designing and implementing new admin features, optimizing the platform for better performance, and establishing a design system using Storybook for a consistent UI/UX. This role allowed me to gain valuable experience in building scalable, user-focused solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
This was my first fullstack position working PHP, SQL, Sass and Jquery with the framework Prestashop.During my time here I had the opportunity to undertake projects such as designing and localising their website for the Irish market, creating a new accessory cross selling module, integrating Apple sso and more.
My first professional experience was in marketing working for the Irish Food Board marketing meat exports to France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Here I was able to gain experience in both operational and digital marketing and gain an in-depth understanding of the food industry.
My first fullstack project as a part of my studies at École 42. In a team of 4, our mission was to create a website in which students could log in using the schools OAuth2 API and challenge their friends to a game of pong. The site also contained an integrated chatroom in which users could create roles and groups
As a part of the LVMH x Data x Design x Tech Academy organised by Haigo, I colloborated students from HEC and Strate to create a web application for LVMH to improve their in store customer experience. Our solution? A virtual queue system for Louis Vuitton customers to offer them tailored luxury experiences in the area calculated from their estimated waiting time. We managed to design and code our prototype in under a week using React and Tailwind.
